Interview with Hassan Chahdi

His state of mind is marked by great serenity and an ability to stay focused on his objectives, despite challenges and obstacles. He tells us about his use of IAKOTA mattress topper :

Hassan, first question, what do you see as the pillars of recovery? What's important in the idea of recovery?

Hassan Chahdi:

"For me, the most important pillar is the sleep. Because without a good night's sleep, it's hard to start the day. Then, it's everything that happens after training, all the ways of recovering after training that are important to me."

"On the mattress topper, it's true that I've felt a better sleep and especially in terms of quality. I wake up a little earlier with it and then when I wake up, I feel great."

How do you sleep? How well do you sleep?

Hassan Chahdi:

"For me, my strategy is to sleep at set timesIt's a good idea to get some sleep, usually around 10 or 10:30 pm. And the same goes for waking up at 7 a.m."

We believe that there is no overtraining, only under-recovery. What do you think?

Hassan Chahdi:

"For me, I'm careful, I listen to myself a lot, I'm careful in training. I think there could be a overtraining. So far, I think it takes a balance between training and recovery. Because if you're feeling overtrained, tired or out of shape, you're not going to do a major workout. You're going to take your state of fitness into account."

This brings me to the mattress toppers that were made for this purpose. How did you feel about the mattress topper?

Hassan Chahdi:

"On the mattress topperit's true that I felt a better sleep and especially in the quality. I wake up a little earlier with it and then when I wake up, I feel great."

Have you seen any changes in your deep sleep time?

Hassan Chahdi:

"No, I don't measure it, but I sometimes wake up at night. And when I used the mattress topperI didn't have night-time awakening. You can really feel the deep awakening. That's why I think there may be less need for sleep. And the fact that I'm less tired and feel good in the morning is also due to this.

Would you recommend the mattress topper to other athletes or to the average person for various reasons?

Hassan Chahdi:

"I would recommend mattress to other people and then to other athletes. Beyond the athletes, the well-being it's not just for athletes, so it's obviously for everyone. I try to tell my close circle about it too, so that they can enjoy it too."
