Last weekend, Chamonix vibrated to the rhythm of the Mont Blanc Marathon 2024a not-to-be-missed event for trail running enthusiasts.

June 27-30, 10,000 runners set off on the majestic paths of the Mont-Blanctesting their endurance and determination.
The 2024 event was a resounding success, made possible by the unfailing commitment of 750 volunteers and the unfailing support of partners such as IAKOTA of which mattress toppers have been used for several months by the race's top athletes: Top 1 and 2 in the men's category (El Houssine Elazzaoui and Remi Bonnet) and Top 1 and 2 in the women's category (Judith WIeder and Madalina Florea).

A Historic and Prestigious Race

Created in 1979 by the Club Alpin Français (CAF) of Chamonix, Mont Blanc Marathon is a historic race that has established itself as one of the most prestigious competitions in the world. trail running.

For the 2024 edition, Elhousine Elazzaoui achieved the feat of winning the 42km marathon in 3h30'07''followed closely by Rémi Bonnet and Roberto Delorenzi. On the women's side, it's Judith Wyder who dominated the race in 4h11'12''with Madalina Florea and Miao Yao completing the podium.
