Grounding mattresses: which one to choose
A ground mat connects your body to the electrical potential of the ground while you sleep, through the ground wire in your installation. Placed on the mat, under the cover sheet, it requires no power, no battery, and no active substance. It works during an ordinary night without you having to do anything.

What happens, and what doesn't happen
Two mechanisms act simultaneously. The first is grounding: connected to the ground wire, the conductive textile evacuates the static electrical charges accumulated by the body. The second is endogenous infrared return: the active layer of the Minoxis technology absorbs the infrared radiation that your body naturally emits and returns it to it, with an emissivity of around 0.95 in the 3-20 µm band. This band does not heat your body. Nothing is added to your body; its own radiation is redistributed. A IAKOTA overbedding does not emit any active electromagnetic radiation, and it does not replace your mattress or a sufficient night’s sleep. It does not operate under a waterproof cover: between you and it, a cotton cover sheet, and nothing else.
